This Refund & Service Policy outlines the terms for service delivery, payments, and refunds for the digital marketing services provided by Short Edge Marketing. By engaging our services, you agree to this policy.

1. Service Agreements
All services, including but not limited to Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Management, and Social Media Marketing, will be detailed in a written proposal or service agreement. The specific scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and fees must be agreed upon by both parties before work commences.

2. Payment Terms
Fees are as stated in the service agreement. Standard payment terms require a deposit or first month’s fee to begin work, with subsequent payments due monthly or as outlined in the agreement. Invoices are due within 15 days of receipt.

3. Refund Policy for Marketing Services
Due to the custom, analytical, and labor-intensive nature of digital marketing services, Short Edge Marketing operates under the following refund conditions:

  • Strategy & Setup Fees: Fees for initial strategy development, account setup, and onboarding are non-refundable once work has begun.
  • Monthly Retainer Fees: Refunds for monthly service fees are not provided for work already performed during that billing cycle. If a client wishes to cancel ongoing monthly services, they must provide written notice. Services will conclude at the end of the current billing period, and no fees for future periods will be charged.
  • Project-Based Fees: For fixed-price projects, refunds are not typically offered once the project has started and resources have been allocated, except as mandated by law.

4. Performance & Guarantees
Short Edge Marketing uses industry best practices to achieve the best possible results for our clients. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes such as particular search engine rankings, traffic numbers, or sales conversions, as these are influenced by numerous external factors beyond our control.

5. Client Responsibilities & Communication
Timely client feedback and provision of necessary materials (logins, content, etc.) are essential for project success. Delays caused by the client may impact timelines and deliverables. We request that service concerns be communicated to us immediately to allow for resolution.

6. Policy Modifications
Short Edge Marketing reserves the right to modify this Refund & Service Policy at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page.
